We’re a proudly sustainable brand - but our first collection is using conventional nylon instead of recycled. This was a very important, challenging decision for us. We want to affect what we can immediately while maintaining high-performing fabric. Recycled nylon still does not have recovery and performance on par with virgin nylon, especially when applying Activated Silk Technology. Gentrue aims to deliver not only an innovative sustainable brand but the best performing active wear. We’re hard at work and will be incorporating recycled materials into our upcoming collections (and recycled materials even better than what’s currently out there). We care about you and your movement. This fabric was specially developed with two things in mind, luxurious comfort and breathability. This soft, smoothing, close-to-skin fabric allows for breathability by permitting your sweat to escape, letting your body cool down. With buttery (almost silk like) hand feel and smoothing properties, you will never want to take it off.

We suggest to not wash your amazing top with zippers or metal trims for fear of scuffing or snagging them. They are luxury after all.
Gentrue will be regularly launching new collections in a pre-order / sustainable shipping model. When you pre-order your clothing, it means we manufacture only what will be sold eliminating waste. It also means a shift away from impulsive shopping and throwaway culture. It’s a better way to shop for Gentrue, for the planet, and for you. For our launch - customers can expect their items to be delivered in mid-March 2021.

How long will I have to wait if I pre-order something? How long will I have to wait for a normal order?
Normal orders take 3-7 days to get to you once shipped out! For pre-orders, it depends on the pre-order collection, but we will always specify on our Sustainable Ordering page. Pre-orders will typically be anywhere from 45-90 days in advance.
What countries do you ship to?
We currently ship domestically within the US, and to Canada. But, we are working towards shipping internationally as soon as we devise the most sustainable route!
What is sweat wicking?
Sweat wicking is the ability to move moisture and sweat away from our bodies, to the outer surface of fabric so it can evaporate. This keeps us dry, comfortable, and allows us to perform at our best. Our wicking tech is evolved by nature - innovative, and sustainable Activated Silk Technology to manage moisture.
